About Me

I am Joy Schreier - a Grammy-nominated pianist, wife and mom with a passion for making fantastic cakes and hosting beautiful parties.

I have always loved baking. I grew up eating my French grandmother’s pastries and watching Jacques Torres on public television. It was only natural that I started playing in the kitchen at a very young age. But my passion really took on a new life when I had my son and I decided to make his first birthday cake.

This website is a creative outlet for me beyond my regular career as a collaborative pianist and classical vocal coach. Every day I’m surrounded by stunning music created by incredible artists. I’ve spent my life developing detail in my fingertips at the piano - the same detail that I now love to put into my parties and cake designs.
